Getting the right support starts with a simple conversation
Starting a support service should feel straightforward. We take the time to understand what you are looking for, discuss how we may be able to help, and agree an approach that respects your needs, preferences, and choices.
WHO WE ARE
A simple process, built around you
Every support arrangement starts with understanding what is being considered and whether it falls within our service. We take time to discuss suitability, agree what is needed and put the relevant arrangements in place before support begins.
Arranging support should feel straightforward and respectful. We take time to understand what support is being considered, explain our service boundaries and make sure the arrangement is suitable before anything begins.
Where the service is appropriate, we work through the relevant planning, risk assessment and written agreement before the first visit. This helps everyone understand what has been agreed, what responsibilities apply and what to expect.
A SIMPLE PROCESS
Support starts with a conversation
1
INITIAL CONVERSATION
Contact us by telephone, email or enquiry form. We will listen to what support is being considered and explain our service boundaries.
2
SUITABILITY DISCUSSION
We confirm whether the request is within scope and discuss relevant needs and concerns.
3
PLANNING AND RISK ASSESSMENT
Where the service appears suitable, we agree activities, timing, responsibilities, emergency contacts, costs and proportionate risk controls.
4
WRITTEN AGREEMENT
Support begins only after the client receives and accepts the relevant service information, privacy information and written terms.
5
FIRST VISIT AND REVIEW
We check that the arrangement feels right and review it after the first visits or sooner if anything changes.
CLEAR FROM THE BEGINNING
Helping adults stay connected, confident and involved
Your Choices Matter
Support is discussed around what the client is considering and what matters to them.
Boundaries Are Explained
We explain what our service can, cannot provide and discuss communication.
Plans Can Be Reviewed
Arrangements can be reviewed after the first visits or sooner if circumstances change.
ONGOING REVIEW
What if circumstances change?
People’s circumstances can change, and the support that was suitable at the beginning may not always remain suitable over time.
If something changes, we encourage you to tell us as soon as possible. We can review the existing arrangement and consider whether the agreed support can continue safely and appropriately within our service boundaries.
Where a change means that the support required is outside our scope, we will be clear about this rather than extending the service beyond what we are able to provide. Where appropriate, we may signpost or recommend an appropriately registered or qualified service.
Any significant change should be discussed before additional activities or responsibilities are introduced.
- If needs change, we review. We don't quietly extend beyond our boundaries.
- Need care advice? Talk to our team — enquiries 9am–6pm daily, with an on-call route outside those hours.
