Support you can understand and boundaries you can trust

Trust depends on being clear about what a service does, how concerns are handled and when another provider is needed. Our current service is limited to non-personal support for adults.

WHAT WE DO

Support for Everyday Life, Built Around You

At Peculiar Support Services Ltd, we believe safe and respectful support starts with being clear about what we provide and where our boundaries lie.

We use agreed plans, proportionate risk controls, safeguarding procedures and appropriate record keeping to support safe and consistent visits.

Our approach is centred on dignity, choice, privacy and professional boundaries, while recognising when a person’s circumstances may require support outside our service scope.

Safeguarding, Privacy & Professional Boundaries

Safe and respectful support depends on clear boundaries, appropriate information handling and awareness of safeguarding responsibilities.

We consider safeguarding responsibilities relating to adults and children and use appropriate procedures when concerns arise. We respect consent and privacy and maintain confidential records in line with our service arrangements.

Professional boundaries are maintained throughout our support. This includes clear boundaries around financial transactions, personal information, staff relationships and activities that fall outside our authorised service.

Where a situation falls outside our scope or requires a different level of support, we will not extend our service beyond its authorised boundaries.

Our Concerns Complaints

Concerns, complaints and safeguarding matters are taken seriously and are handled through the appropriate procedures.

If you have a concern about our service, you can contact us by telephone, email or through our complaints process. We will listen to the concern and take appropriate steps to understand what has happened and determine the appropriate response.

We also maintain procedures for incidents, complaints and whistleblowing as part of our service standards.

Raising a concern or making a complaint should not result in unfair treatment.
